Spring has finally arrived here in the Tennessee Mountains to my great delight. Despite last minute quick drops in the temp down to freezing the earth has slowly warmed up. It always amazes me to see tiny green shoots come out of the bare ground, grow rapidly, and begin blooming even in the snow. Buds form on bushes and trees to open slowly revealing blossoms or fresh green new leaves.
As the temp inches upward, froggy eggs appear in ponds as birds begin building nests and butterflies once again float on the air. There is excitement in the air as all of nature comes to life. Yes, spring is truly a time of magic!
